Welcome to Vimala!

Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche

Founded in 2007 under the auspices of the Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche, Vimala is a nonprofit Tibetan Buddhist organization devoted to facilitating spiritual development by supporting the study and practice of dharma (the teachings of the Buddha).

Vimala's activities include collecting, archiving, and disseminating dharma teachings and practices, with a particular focus on those associated with the Nyingma lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism.  In addition, Vimala supports the translation of dharma in order to make it available to practitioners worldwide and facilitates the training of future translators and teachers to help ensure that dharma will remain in the world for the benefit of future generations.

Dear Vimala Customers,

We appreciate your continued support of Vimala Treasures. Serving your dharma needs is very important to us; in fact, it is our central mission.  Our crew consists of just three volunteers who also volunteer for Tashi Choling, but we do our best to process your requests for dharma items as quickly as possible.  Sometimes delays are unavoidable given the volunteer nature of our operation.

Please note:  From July 13th through August 12th, our order processing department will be closed for staff vacations.  The Pecha Department will remain open. Digital orders will also be processed. All other departments (books, commentaries, practices, etc.) will be closed.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  You may place your orders and they will remain in our queue; your orders will be processed starting August 12th.  Thank you for your patience and your support.

We appreciate your support of Vimala Treasures. We pray that you stay healthy. We pray for your long life, prosperity, and happiness as well.  Below is His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche's famous Prayer for the People's of the Earth.  May it bless you and all you hold dear, and all mother sentient beings.

Yours in the dharma,
Your Dedicated Vimala Staff
